LOTR open beta
Anyone here going to try it? I downloaded the client (took forever, thank goodness for resume). Come this Friday it's open 'til the 27th I think. Pay to play aside, I am really excited as I love the storyline.
Please do not make this a GW rules, all others.. thread, many many people play more than one game. Hell even guru has multiple sites for various games.
So anyone else thinking of at least trying the free time? I'm finishd with all 3 chapters of GW, and Eye will not be out for a bit, sooooooooooooooooooo...

Hmm... some of those skills seem strangely familiar, guess it couldn't be helped
Anyway... I'm going to be having a lot of fun dealing with idiot minstrels...

For the love of..... minstrels can cause aggro to break from the tank and then run around singing? What type of class is that?

For those who don't get it:
Swift Bow = Dual Shot
Rain of Arrows = Barrage
Blindside = Hmm, I don't get this one, but it could be because I'm sick and tired -.-
Quick Shot = Quick Shot, ZOMG.
Set Trap = All Traps

There are crossbows. You have to get to like level 30 or something to use them, but I love crossbows and think they should be used in everything. Therefore this game gets at least an 8/10 on my scale and I haven't even gotten to level 10 yet. >_>

Spent a few hours on the stress test awhile back, and was rather disappointed. Character appearance not very realistic (Guild Wars and Oblivion have me spoiled), and the movement was awkward. But, that was then. My daughter and I are both trying it out again over the next couple weeks. LOTRO was a game that I was really looking forward to.
